How does your Made to Measure differ from Made to Order?

We produce garments when they are ordered by our customers which allows us to customize to each individual. Made to Order simply means that a garment is made at the time you order it. Sometimes this is based on set pattern size which may not provide the best fit. Instead, we are able to customize for a number of measurements, providing a truly individual fit for your body.

Why do I need to provide so many measurements?

We’ve selected the most important measurements for each garment to provide the best fit for your body.

Can you keep my measurements on file?

Absolutely! We recommend you register for an account when you place an order as that is the easiest way for us to track your measurements and any individual notes for a perfect fit. However, as long as you provide an email address with your order, we can track your measurements in our system.

If your measurements change at any time, simply choose “New Measurements” when you order and we will update your measurements in our system.

Why don’t you provide standardized sizing?

Every person’s body is different and most complaints about clothing are due to fit. We produce your garment when you order and tailor it to your measurements and proportions. Standardized patterns don’t provide a precise fit or accommodate individual body shapes as our Made to Measure approach does.

I’m unsure about how to measure, what should I do?

We are here to support you. If you are feeling intimidated or overwhelmed with the measuring process, please click here to schedule a video call with us and we can walk you through the process. If you need a measuring tape, we can send you one - just fill out this form.

Will you offer more fabric options for your Made to Measure garments?

We have selected fabrics and colors that suit a variety of tastes but we love customers who want to experiment and create something unique. All of our Made to Measure garments can be customized with different fabrics. If you are interested, please click here to schedule a call with us.

How long will a Made to Measure or Custom order take to make and ship?

We provide our best estimate for Made to Measure production time on each product listing. If we anticipate any delays due to holidays or factory closures, we will update each product listing accordingly.

Timing for a Custom order will be determined by the selected fabrics and style. We can discuss timing during the Custom ordering process.

SHIPPING

What shipping methods do you use?

We ship via UPS within the US. We offer a flat rate shipping via UPS Ground, UPS 3 Day Select and UPS 2nd Day Air.

Once your order has shipped, a confirmation email with tracking information will be sent to the email address provided at checkout.

RETURNS

What is your return policy?

Returns of non-Made to Measure items can be made within 30 days of receipt.

What if my Made to Measure or Custom item needs adjustments?

It is our goal to get an ideal fit with the measurements you provide. If your fit needs adjustments, we can work with you to determine the best solution. Please reach out to us at info@dgustibus.com and include your order number.
